I apologize for failing to mention how Kelly Clarkson has made it up to me for canceling her summer tour. She enlisted one of my favorite piano-singer-songwriters Jon McLaughlin to be her direct support for her My December tour. It's much more fitting for this tour to take place around December anyway so in the end it all worked out. An additional perk is the concert is general admission, making front row fair game (a huge upgrade from our upper level Palace of Auburn Hills seats). So Kelly didn't book a show in my backyard or in East Lansing but she still has made it up to me and I just want to apologize for forgetting to mention this sooner.
In completely opposite news, I bought a Michigan State sweatshirt and Van Gogh book from SBS on Saturday. The sweatshirt is so warm and comfortable, while the book provided valuable knowledge and wonderful pictures of my favorite paintings. A win-win scenario!
