Hey There...

Sometimes I wonder, what should I write about in this blog? On my walk home from class I decided to take a mental inventory of the things I think about. They proved not to be that indepth or intellectual but here is what is on my mind..

The 2006 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Two nights ago we watched the 2006 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It featured all the familiar components of the Victoria's Secret fashion shows of years past- super skinny models with foreign accents, gigantic angel wings, and a $6 million dollar bra. Yes, a $6 million dollar bra encrusted with diamonds went down the run way. Is that necessary? Does an underwear garment need to cost more than 5 people's college educations combined? That underwear garment could feed over half of a third world country, and if it had matching underwear it could probably feed the whole population for more than a year. Oh VS, you are so extravagant! Aside from what I'm used to, it was lacking something. My hero Tyra Banks retired her runway shoes at last year's fashion show. It just wasnt the same without Tyra working the runway, she's my favorite since the ANTM days and I missed that bitch. VS knew I'd be pissed; to make up for it they included some stellar performances from Justin Timberlake, he's so hot. He really is. My favorite part of the show was the Pink Collection runway. For starters, there was a gigantic pink dog as the backdrop, and you know I love those pink dogs. One of the props included a blinged out coke bottle, you know I loved that as well. It was just really cute. The ending with a Christmas runway collection put everyone in a merry mood. My only complaint is Heidi Klum. My dislike for her has carried over from the days of Project Runway. She just bothers me.

People can't commit
Ever since the days of black and white (see photo), people have been running into each other. Whether it be bike, cars, or just simply walking- people can't commit. Pick a side, and stick with it. If you are going right, stay right. If you are going left, stay left. I feel like, especially at Michigan State University, that the whole world is just listening to Dave Matthew's song 'Crash'. It is frustrating and awkward when people walk right at you and then no one knows what to do. Follow this rule of thumb, always stay on the right. Maybe that will decrease some of the confusion...

don't be a dummy.
