It's not 100% done yet, as far as blending goes.
I did this just for fun but I wanted to explain the various components to it, starting with the left side. The entire left side represents my past or present.
I wanted to do a picture with an hour glass, because I like the symbol of an hour glass to represent time. The hour glass is placed over an outline of "Saginaw county" which means that my time in Saginaw will eventually run out. Linked to saginaw underneath it is the shape of north carolina because if I could, I'd put Saginaw right next to NC. I also included the chevy logo b/c it fit into the north carolina shape, and it represents how I used to drive my TB. Next to the hour glass is a leaf that kind of fits into the state shape too, and an acorn. The acorn also represents me pre-growth. The leaf is part of that. On the very left is a lighthouse. The lighthouse superficially represents time on the lake. but i wanted it there as a guiding light that would flow into the right side. The lighthouse stands for my friends and family that have guided me, that I will always have with me.

On the right side, I started with a beverly hills sign in the corner, because i want to live in LA/Hollywood/The Hills. The red strip on the bottom is for the California flag, there is also a faded red star from the flag underneath the rainbow. The stamp stands for contact. The flowers/yellow brick road stand for finding my way and getting to emerald city. i like the wizard of oz. The flowers above the beverly hills sign were taken from a welcome to california road sign. I put the No Day but Today part b/c it's from Rent, and even though this is what i want for my future I need to live for each day as well. The compass is so that I do not lose my way. The doric column on the very right balances out the light house and stands for strength. I included the invisible monsters cover logo because I liked some of the messages in the book. Then I put a sun...bc everything revolves around the sun.
