I have to make a correction to my last post because my summer of music is being cut off way too early for my liking. Yes, American Idol's Season 1 winner has cancelled her summer "My December" tour. The reason being that she could not sell out the arenas she was scheduled for. She is having a rough couple of weeks, maybe the follow-up album to My December will be called "My Summer" and feature a set of tracks discussing Clive, cancelled tours, and fired managers. To be quite frank, I'm pissed the tour got cancelled. I was taking a liking to Mat Kearney and I hope he still opens for her for the to-be-announced rescheduled tour. For now I have some suggestions as to what smaller places she can try to perform at in Michigan to make it up to Mike, Melish, Lindsay and I for cancelling her concerts!
1. Saginaw County Event Center. (She was originally scheduled to play here two summers ago before switching to DTE a few weeks before the concert.)
2. Michigan State University. The Breslin Center or the MSU Auditorium would be smaller than the Palace and suitable for a Kelly show. It would also give Mike and I home court advantage.
3. Mount Pleasant- Soaring Eagle or CMU. Considering Lindsay goes to CMU this would be the third alternative for Kelly to perform at.
4. Alma college- close to CMU, Melish will be here, and it'd be a very small sweet show.
5. My backyard- you have ho'd me out twice now, it's time you step up to the plate and perform in my backyard because I'm getting pissed.
There ya go Kelly, those are your choices. You can only pick from these 5. K, thanks!
